Wendell's Story

Wendell has settled deep into his chair, book open and lamp glowing softly at his side.

The room is quiet, save for the gentle turn of pages and the warm pool of light around him. Outside the window, the world feels far away, tucked safely beyond the glass.

For now, Wendell is content to linger in this chapter a little longer.
