I was trying to decide on the fourth and final painting for my Autumn in Bloom collection when I heard the sad news about Dolly Parton. Later that day, I was looking out at my garden, where the last of the monarch butterflies were passing through for the season, when suddenly the idea came to me.
It felt like the perfect way to finish the collection and a lovely little tribute to Dolly.
