Hello!

I’m an acrylic painter based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I create colorful, story-driven paintings of animals living their best lives.

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I originally moved to Ann Arbor to attend law school at the University of Michigan. After practicing law for a few years, I realized my heart was always pulling me back toward art.

I returned to school and earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Eastern Michigan University in 2019. Today, I’m grateful to work full time as a professional artist, doing what I’ve always loved.

Each animal I paint is treated like a character, not just a subject. They have names, quirks, and inner lives. It’s my way of celebrating how much of ourselves we see in the animals we love.

My work isn’t about perfect realism. It’s about warmth, humor, and connection. I hope these paintings make you smile, remind you of a beloved pet, or spark that familiar feeling of comfort and joy that comes from something thoughtfully made.
