Ironing features a porcupine tending to a freshly pressed pile of laundry, smoothing away each wrinkle one at a time. This cozy artwork celebrates the quiet rhythm of familiar routines and the care tucked into even the most ordinary tasks.

This print is produced from my original acrylic painting using archival pigment inks on heavyweight paper.

Each print includes a copy of the story behind the artwork, a small companion to the moment you see here.

It is unframed (no mat or frame included), allowing you to choose the mat and frame that best suit your space.

Ironing's Story

Inspired by the vintage embroidered kitchen towels that assigned a household chore to each day of the week, this collection gives an old tradition a whimsical new cast of characters.

I remember seeing those embroidery patterns when I was a child and being completely charmed by them. These little paintings are my own nostalgic nod to those familiar towels.
