How it Works

How much do pet portraits cost?

I offer three sizes of original acrylic pet portraits, each painted on gallery-wrapped canvas and ready to hang. Prices include careful packaging and shipping (via UPS with tracking) anywhere within the U.S.:

• 8x10 inches: $280 (50% deposit: $140)
• 11x14 inches: $430 (50% deposit: $215)
• 16x20 inches: $700 (50% deposit: $350)

If you'd like a larger canvas or wish to include more than one animal, please contact me for a custom quote!

How long does it take?

Most portraits take 2–4 weeks to complete once I receive your photos and details. If you have a specific deadline in mind, let me know—I’ll do my best to accommodate it.

What’s your style like?

My style is colorful, whimsical, and personality-packed. I love painting animals in cozy sweaters or cute accessories—but if you prefer a classic look, I’m happy to keep it simple. Each portrait is meant to celebrate the unique spirit of your pet.

What pose do you use for portraits?

My portraits feature animals painted in a style similar to human portraiture—typically head-and-shoulders (torso up), either directly facing the viewer or at a slight three-quarter angle. This human-like perspective is playful, charming, and unexpected when applied to pets, and has become my signature style. View examples here. I don't paint full-body or action poses.

What photos work best?

Clear, well-lit images showing your pet's face and personality are ideal. Feel free to send several!

How does the process work?

Once I receive your photos and preferences, I’ll sketch out your portrait and begin painting—layer by colorful layer. I’ll share a progress photo or two so you can see your pet coming to life. When it’s complete, I’ll package it carefully and send it off to you, ready to display.

Can I choose the background style?

Yes! My custom pet portraits typically feature colorful, abstract backgrounds with playful shapes or subtle floral elements—similar to the backgrounds you see in my regular paintings. If you prefer something simpler, I'm also happy to offer a solid-color background instead.

How do I book?

You can book directly here. After placing your deposit, you'll receive an automated email confirmation right away. Within one business day, I'll personally reach out to gather your pet’s name, photos, background preferences, and any special details you'd like me to include.

What’s the payment plan?

A 50% deposit secures your spot, and the balance is due when your painting is ready to ship.

Is shipping included?

Yes! All listed prices include careful packaging and UPS shipping (with tracking).

What's your return policy for custom portraits?

Because each portrait is custom-made just for you, the deposit is non-refundable, and my usual 30-day return policy does not apply. However, I’ll share progress updates during the painting process, ensuring you're confident and delighted with the final piece.
