Rusty's Story

Rusty is the kind of beaver who likes to pause before starting his next big project. He came up to the Upper Peninsula to see the falls everyone’s always talking about and to collect “structural inspiration,” as he puts it.

Standing at the overlook, he soaks in the rush of water and the scent of cedar. His plaid flannel smells faintly of campfire and cedar shavings, and his whiskers twitch at the sound of the roaring water below. Rusty’s not one to sit still for long, but today, he’s perfectly content. Just a beaver, a breeze, and the sound of home in every falling drop.
