This canvas print is created from my original acrylic painting using archival pigment inks on canvas, then finished by hand in my studio in Ann Arbor. Each one is carefully printed, wrapped around sturdy stretcher bars, hand signed, and finished with added texture and a varnish to give it the feel of a small original artwork.

The 1.5-inch depth allows the piece to stand on its own on a shelf, mantel, or tabletop, and a sawtooth hanger is attached on the back for easy wall display.

Each canvas print also includes a copy of Pip's story, a small companion to the quiet moment you see here.

Pip's Story

Pip’s family teases him for being the “bravest mouse in Michigan,” but he insists he’s just curious. He’s been exploring Pictured Rocks all morning, sketchbook in his pack, stopping every so often to admire the turquoise water below.

When his sister calls his name, he turns, grinning, as she snaps a photo. Pip straightens his vest and hopes he looks properly adventurous. Later, when they’re back at camp, he’ll look at the picture and remember the sound of birds, the smell of pine, and how big the world felt from up there.
