Hello!

I’m a painter raised in California and currently based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who creates colorful, story-driven paintings of animals and florals, inspired by quiet moments in nature.

I originally moved to Ann Arbor to attend law school at the University of Michigan, but after practicing for a few years, I realized my heart was always pulling me back toward art. I returned to school and earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Eastern Michigan University in 2019. Today, I’m grateful to work full time as a professional artist.

Each painting begins with a personality: a frog hosting a picnic, a cat lost in a book, a squirrel carefully wrapping a gift. From there, I build a small world around them.

I’ve always been drawn to animals and flowers for the same reason. They’re where I go when I want things to feel calm again. That sense of quiet, steady presence is what I try to carry into my work.

My paintings are meant to feel like small, calm places, little moments you can return to when you need a sense of ease.

Thank you for being here.
