Weekly Update July 13-19
Not much to update this go around. This week flew by in a flurry of painting, paperwork, and mailing orders. It's funny how when you're a kid, time seems to crawl, but as an adult, the weeks rush by.
I'm making progress on my foxgloves painting, but it's not going as quickly as I expected. I hope to finish it this week, but I'm not holding my breath because last week I said the same thing about completing this painting. LOL!
I should have made this a larger painting. It's only an 8x10, which is a very small area to put in all the detail that I want. I haven't decided on the subject for my next painting, but it will be a larger one, either 10x13 or 11x14. Smaller sizes tend to be too limiting for my painting style.
On a personal note, my daughter turned 22 this week. She's my youngest child, and talk about time passing by quickly...I can hardly believe all three of my children are in their twenties. It feels like just yesterday they were babies!
