I hope that you all have been having a wonderful winter season. As some of you know, my dad went through a serious illness this winter. Unfortunately, he didn't survive, and I'm extremely grateful for all the messages of love and concern you all sent me.

That experience prompted me to pare down lots of things in my life, including my website. I used to offer my images as original paintings, prints, mugs, tote bags, the works! I've streamlined my site now and am focusing solely on original watercolor paintings. I've moved all the other products to my Etsy shop that you can find here.

I plan to continue offering some of my images on mugs and other items in my Etsy shop, but it won't be as comprehensive as before. My passion is painting, and the more time I have to spend working with outside vendors to create printed items, the less time I have for actual painting.

One of the many things I've learned this season is that life is too short to spend it doing things that don't inspire you. Painting inspires me, so that's what I'll be sticking to.

My latest painting is the yellow rosebud shown above. Yellow roses have always been my favorite flower. You can see more details about it here
